The Length Equation™ Amla Retention Conditioner is a rich rinse-out conditioner designed to restore softness, slip and manageability after cleansing while supporting the everyday fiber care that helps hair retain its length.

At the center of the formula is Indian Gooseberry (Amla) in two forms: a concentrated botanical extract paired with unrefined Amla Oil. Meadowfoam Seed Oil and lightweight caprylic/capric triglycerides provide emollience and lubrication, while Glyceryl Oleate helps replenish softness and improve the conditioned feel of freshly cleansed hair.

A substantive conditioning system of BTMS-50, Polyquaternium-7 and Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride provides the slip and combability needed to work through wet hair with less unnecessary manipulation. Aloe, Betaine and Panthenol complement the formula with hydration and softness.

The result is a creamy, high-slip conditioner that leaves the hair feeling soft, smooth, pliable and prepared for the next step in the Length Equation™ ritual.

Why Amla?

Amla (Indian Gooseberry) has a long history of use in traditional hair-care preparations, but its interest goes beyond tradition. Phyllanthus emblica fruit contains a range of polyphenolic compounds, including gallic-acid-related constituents, and laboratory research has investigated Amla extracts for antioxidant activity and their effects on biological pathways associated with the hair-growth cycle. 

Dual-Amla Conditioning — Our Amla Retention Conditioner uses Indian Gooseberry in two complementary forms: 6% Indian Gooseberry Extract PF and 2% Amla Oil. The water-dispersible extract brings Amla's botanical constituents into the aqueous phase, while Amla Oil contributes lipid-rich emollience that helps condition, soften and lubricate the hair fiber.

Directions

After shampooing, apply generously to wet hair from roots to ends, concentrating on the lengths and areas prone to dryness or tangling. Distribute thoroughly with fingers or a detangling tool. Leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

For dense, highly textured or very dry hair: Work in sections to ensure even distribution, leave on for up to 10 minutes before rinsing.
