A Note About Our Whipped Butters: Strand Alliance™ is whipped to create its signature light, airy texture. Because whipping incorporates air into the butter, the product occupies more container volume than a dense, unwhipped butter of the same weight. Product sizes are therefore listed by net weight—not jar volume. Every jar is filled according to the net weight stated on the label.

Strand Alliance™ Whipped Hair Butter combines five plant butters—Shea, Mango, Tucuma, Kokum and Illipe—with a concentrated botanical oil complex to envelop dry, coarse and textured hair in lasting softness, lubrication and protection.

Unlike a water-based moisturizer, this is an anhydrous finishing treatment: there is no water to evaporate and no lightweight lotion base. The formula is almost entirely composed of plant butters, botanical oils and lightweight emollients. A small amount melts between the hands into a rich oil-butter treatment that spreads over the hair to soften rough-feeling strands, reduce the dry feel of exposed ends and help seal in moisture already present in the hair.

At the heart of the formula is Strand Alliance™, a handcrafted botanical oil complex created by infusing Amla, Brahmi and Bhringraj directly into Meadowfoam, Castor and Abyssinian oils, then layering the infusion with Broccoli Seed, Baobab, Marula, Pracaxi, Pumpkin Seed, Black Seed, Sea Buckthorn and Horsetail.

The result is a deliberately substantial butter designed especially for dry, dense, coarse, curly and coily hair—or whenever the ends and lengths need concentrated lipid care.

Especially suited to hair that readily absorbs richer butters and oils. Fine or easily weighed-down hair should begin with a very small amount, concentrating primarily on the ends.

Directions

Warm a small amount between palms until melted. Smooth over damp or moisturized hair, concentrating on the lengths and ends. Use sparingly and add more only as needed. May also be used on dry hair to soften and seal the ends or as an intensive pre-shampoo treatment. For very dense/coarse hair, it can be used section by section.

This product does not contain water and is intended to seal in existing moisture. For best results, apply after a water-based leave-in or to damp hair.
